Monterey Bay Regional Business Plan Competition
The 2012 Monterey Regional Business Plan Competition being held on May 4, 2012 is a chance for regional start-ups and emerging companies to showcase their ideas and business concepts to regional and local angels and venture capitalists. It is also a vehicle to connect regional entrepreneurs to serial entrepreneurs, funders, consultants and support programs in the region. The competition is intended to be a tool that strengthens our regional start-ups and emerging businesses by providing entrepreneurs with the best foundation possible.
The 2011 Monterey Bay Regional Business Plan Competition congratulates Linda Lannon of PeopleTowels of Corral de Tierra, Amy Sibiga of Megan's Living Well of Santa Cruz and Adrien Herberts, Peter Yang, Joey Tai, Frankie Angai, and William Yan of the University of Vancouver, B.C., for winning first place in the VC-Play Company Category, the Lifestyle Company category and the Student-Team Category, respectively, Friday, May 13th, 2011 at the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
